Partner with the EMEA Engineering COO team to drive strategic priorities, optimize engineering-specific processes, and coordinate cross-divisional projects. Produce data-driven insights, dashboards, and executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, track deliverables, manage risks, and improve operational efficiency to attract and retain engineering talent.

Mentor junior researchers, collaborate with global trading desks, and ensure production-grade, high-performance quantitative tooling.

Analyze US corporate credit opportunities across bank loans, high yield and distressed markets. Build cash flow and valuation models, perform fundamental credit and trading analyses, conduct due diligence, produce commentary, liaise with clients and internal teams, present investment theses and risk assessments, and assist in managing credit risk across bonds, credit derivatives and leveraged loans. Sector focus on natural resources (metals, mining, chemicals, power/utilities, energy).

Provide legal support to private wealth lending: advise on unsecured, securities-based, commercial real estate, art and other asset-backed loans; draft documentation; work with outside counsel; monitor banking regulatory developments; assist compliance and implement policies and procedures related to private banking lending.

Serve as the Technology Risk Officer for IAM, advising BU leadership on risk identification, triage, ranking, remediation, and mitigation. Partner with Technology Risk and other TROs, influence risk-based strategy, prioritize risk work, measure and challenge BU performance, provide analytical insight, and support internal/external audit engagements.

Investigate and resolve escalated US Deposits customer complaints, manage assigned complaint portfolio to meet SLAs, coordinate with cross-functional teams, document findings, and provide inbound/outbound customer communications while ensuring compliance and quality standards.

Perform internal audits of controls, processes, and compliance across banking, markets, wealth management, and platform teams. Assess control effectiveness, advise management on remediation, interact with senior stakeholders globally, manage multiple audit projects, and ensure reliable financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Support EMEA funding and resource planning by building and maintaining funding models, performing scenario and peer analysis, tracking funding usage, preparing decision materials, and coordinating inputs across Treasury and business stakeholders.

Lead design and maturation of technology control frameworks across Engineering; advise engineering leaders on control design, measurement, and regulatory responsiveness; ensure continuous assessment readiness, mapping controls to risk taxonomy, implement KRIs and monitoring, and translate complex control requirements for senior stakeholders.
