Handle insurance defense litigation from intake through resolution, including discovery, depositions, motions, mediations, and occasional trials. Provide counsel to business clients, draft legal documents, conduct research, interview witnesses, attend proceedings, and participate in training and mentorship to develop litigation skills.

Defend insureds and the Company in bodily injury, property damage, subrogation, and financial cases. Manage trials, hearings, mediations, depositions, motions, provide business counsel, coordinate legal teams, monitor law changes, and manage substantial caseloads.

Provide administrative support for insurance defense and bodily injury litigation: manage case files and calendars, prepare and e-file pleadings, coordinate with courts, medical providers, and stakeholders, process high-volume correspondence, monitor deadlines, and anticipate attorney needs to ensure compliant, efficient case management.

Provide in-house legal advice to Claims on high-exposure insurance matters, bad faith and extra-contractual litigation; oversee complex first- and third-party claims, manage outside counsel, recommend settlements, and develop claim-handling strategies to mitigate risk.

Remote paralegal role supporting insurance defense litigation from intake through resolution. Duties include drafting pleadings, managing discovery and medical records, coordinating depositions and expert witnesses, e-filing, calendaring, trial preparation, and collaboration with attorneys and stakeholders to ensure timely case management.
