Design and position HPE Networking solutions for state, local, and education customers. Partner with sales teams, customers, and channel partners to assess needs, create architectures and proposals, deliver technical presentations and demonstrations, and lead proof-of-concept activities. Build expertise across Aruba, Juniper, ClearPass, Central, switching, routing, security, and automation technologies while supporting solution adoption and customer-site engagements throughout Nevada.

Lead development and automation of RTL-to-GDS place-and-route flows using Innovus and Fusion Compiler. Create robust P&R methodologies, support floorplanning, CTS, placement, routing, timing closure, IR/EM mitigation, and signoff correlation. Partner with design, EDA, and PDK teams to improve flow robustness and scalability, troubleshoot tool/flow issues, and drive quality metrics for timing, area, power, and DRC signoff.

The ASIC Design Engineer will develop high-speed ASICs, create micro-architecture specifications, collaborate with teams for validation, and mentor junior engineers.

Leads regulatory compliance and certification activities for complex electronic products from architecture through launch. Designs compliance strategies, develops test plans, oversees EMI/EMC, safety, reliability, thermal, telecom, and wireless testing, and manages global approvals with laboratories, suppliers, OEM/ODM partners, and manufacturing teams. Reviews hardware designs and test reports, resolves certification issues and shipment holds, monitors changing regulations, mitigates risks, and mentors engineers.

Manage medium-to-complex projects, including delivery, budgets, financial forecasting, risk management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional team leadership. Oversee internal and external teams of up to 20 people, ensure objectives and quality standards are met, provide leadership updates, and support team development. The role requires applying project management methodologies within HPE Services and contributing to project management initiatives.

The role involves designing high-speed ASICs from specifications to final netlist, implementing designs in Verilog/System Verilog, ensuring verification, and mentoring junior engineers.

Supports HPE Networking sales by advising SLED customers, account managers, and channel partners. Leads discovery, technical assessments, solution architecture, demonstrations, presentations, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, bills of materials, and competitive positioning across networking, security, routing, SD-WAN, SASE, and cloud-managed environments. Manages multiple opportunities while translating technical solutions into business outcomes and maintaining current expertise through certifications and professional development.

Develops functional, scale, and performance test plans for networking products; executes test cases, reports and debugs defects, and automates regression testing. Collaborates with product marketing, software, and hardware teams to validate designs and integrate automated scripts. The role requires strong programming fundamentals, networking protocol expertise, Linux and virtualization knowledge, test automation experience, and proficiency with networking test equipment.
