Lead the strategic vision and commercial growth of BlackRock’s thematic and subsector US iShares ETFs. Responsibilities include shaping the product roadmap, supporting product innovation, partnering with portfolio management, marketing, and distribution teams, developing investor content, training sales partners, engaging clients and senior stakeholders, and managing a high-performing team.

Support customized client reporting by analyzing requirements, managing data flows, producing accurate deliverables, and communicating issues. Improve reporting processes through automation, standardization, Excel-based solutions, and technology. Contribute to strategic initiatives, identify risks, strengthen controls, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a financial services environment.

Produces and coordinates private-markets client reporting by gathering, validating, and analyzing fund, portfolio, performance, exposure, AUM, and market data. Supports reporting cycles, regulatory requests, fundraising RFPs and DDQs, client materials, webinars, and marketing collateral. Partners across investment, administration, product, and client-facing teams while improving workflows, standardizing processes, adopting technology, and managing information effectively.

Own daily production, quality control, reconciliation, analysis, and timely delivery of fixed-income and multi-asset indices. Publish index returns and risk analytics through Aladdin, design data-quality checks, investigate data issues, coordinate with vendors and internal owners, support testing and production stability, respond to client inquiries, document defects, and manage new index launches across engineering, research, and partner teams.

Design and build scalable Java software components for quantitative analysis, financial modeling, risk engines, and high-volume data pipelines. Integrate quantitative models into production systems, improve model performance, participate in architecture and design decisions, conduct code reviews, and develop reliable, resilient applications. Collaborate with quantitative analysts and developers while adopting AI-assisted engineering tools and software testing practices.

Manage fund cash operations, including wires, intercompany transfers, FX settlements, margin calls, swaps, liquidity analysis, bank accounts, and cash reconciliations. Resolve complex cash breaks, coordinate with administrators, trustees, and auditors, support process automation and technology testing, and lead special projects. The role requires strong Excel, reconciliation, analytical, organizational, leadership, and fund cash management skills.

Conduct technology risk assessments and audit testing across applications, infrastructure, databases, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and technology operations. Identify control deficiencies, document findings, communicate risks, track remediation, and support risk-based audit planning. Partner with technology teams, business stakeholders, and audit colleagues to strengthen controls, technology resiliency, regulatory compliance, and risk management practices.

Leads business development and ETF adoption across Canadian national wealth accounts and institutional clients. Partners with RBC GAM National Accounts and BlackRock Institutional Sales teams, identifies sales trends and growth opportunities, develops market penetration strategies, supports client engagement and presentations, provides ETF and capital markets education, and builds relationships with home offices, institutional investors, and relationship managers.

Drive new subscription and expansion sales for Preqin across a West Coast territory. Manage full sales cycle, build pipeline, deliver demos and proposals, support renewals and retention, and execute localized go-to-market activities and events to grow revenue.

Own and govern investment and risk analytics within BlackRock’s Aladdin Data platform, ensuring accuracy, completeness, scalability, and commercial value. Develop analytics solutions and proofs of concept, address complex quantitative and financial-market requirements, and coordinate with product, engineering, operations, and client teams. Apply expertise in private markets, risk models, portfolio returns, performance attribution, and whole-portfolio analytics, including integration of eFront and Preqin capabilities.
