Responsibilities include requirements engineering, system architecture, MATLAB/Simulink modeling, Python data analysis, PLC control logic, electrical schematics, simulation, bench testing, integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and technical documentation. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable product software and support new technology and product releases.

Develops and verifies embedded product software for Cummins systems. Responsibilities include software design, coding, compilation, testing, troubleshooting, requirements engineering, systems architecture, simulation, product validation, failure analysis, and technical documentation. Collaborates with cross-functional product and software teams, delivers verified software components and builds, resolves moderately complex problems, and supports continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Designs and validates statistical and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems. Cleans and profiles data, builds predictive models, partners with domain experts, communicates results to stakeholders, and contributes to team knowledge sharing and deployment (MLOps/CI/CD) of enterprise solutions.

Develops and maintains scalable data pipelines, data lakes, lakehouse solutions, storage architectures, and cloud-based data platforms. Ensures data quality, governance, security, testing, monitoring, and integrity while supporting analytics and data-driven applications. Collaborates with business, IT, analysts, and data scientists to translate requirements into reliable solutions using Azure, Databricks, Python, Scala, SQL, and distributed processing technologies. Leads finance workflow automation initiatives and may build dashboards using business intelligence tools.

Supports finance digitalization through Python-based automation, SQL data extraction and financial analysis. Assists with AI product development awareness, finance system requirements gathering, process definition, project coordination, and workflow improvement. Requires an enrolled undergraduate or graduate student available five days per week for at least six months, with relevant technical or finance studies and strong organizational skills.
