Performs financial reporting, period close activities, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, inventory analysis, capital project reviews, asset management, and internal control validation. The role supports the Electrification, Installation Products division and requires accurate financial analysis, reporting, and compliance with ABB Group requirements. Responsible for driving sales and profitability for ABB’s Electrification Smart Building business in Bangalore. Serve as the local technical and functional MES expert, translating factory requirements into MES solutions through modeling and configuration. Manage Agile backlogs, sprints, priorities, and local development activities. Lead MES projects from requirements through deployment, coordinate technical contributors, and oversee testing, issue resolution, risks, dependencies, and resources. Promote documentation, reuse, and knowledge sharing while supporting backend development for discrete manufacturing and production control systems.

Optimize assembly methods, production processes, equipment, cycle times, and materials to improve quality, efficiency, cost, and safety. Define production process sequences, lead continuous-improvement projects, evaluate new technologies, approve process designs, support equipment start-up, and train maintenance and production teams. The role requires collaboration with production and external providers while sustaining operational improvements.

Executes purchasing, logistics, and strategic sourcing activities to optimize supplier cost, quality, reliability, delivery, and sustainability. Develops local sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, category plans, and supply bases for manufacturing materials. Applies procurement standards and tools, supports supplier development, negotiates contracts, analyzes commodity markets and cost drivers, and collaborates with stakeholders on sourcing and materials-management initiatives.

Manage supplier deliveries and material flow for manufacturing operations. Monitor purchase orders, supplier commitments, transit status, and inventory; lead expediting for critical materials; analyze supplier issues and root causes; develop recovery plans for delays and shortages; and collaborate cross-functionally to prevent production disruptions.

Drive LV switchgear sales in Ahmedabad by managing panel builder activities, generating leads, developing customer relationships, identifying market opportunities, preparing accurate sales proposals, supporting cash collection, and executing sales initiatives. The role requires industrial-segment knowledge, direct sales and account management experience, technical understanding of low-voltage electrical distribution solutions, and effective communication and negotiation skills.

Leads a production engineering team responsible for optimizing internal and special manufacturing processes. Oversees process improvement initiatives, OEE and efficiency metrics, investment feasibility, advanced automation and robotics development, budget management, and production technology implementation. Drives innovation, continuous improvement, and project delivery while coaching technical staff and ensuring manufacturing solutions meet performance, quality, and economic objectives.

Conduct and lead research translating advanced cybersecurity concepts into software solutions for ABB’s industrial products. Develop prototypes, evaluate technologies, influence product roadmaps, and communicate findings through scientific publications, patents, and technical reports. The role focuses on securing operational technology and critical infrastructure using expertise in software engineering, system design, distributed systems, embedded systems, secure communications, and applied cryptography.

Provide strategic legal counsel and risk management for Smart Power, ensuring regulatory compliance (data privacy, cybersecurity, trade). Support M&A, draft and negotiate commercial contracts, oversee litigation/arbitration, advise on digital agreements, SaaS and AI matters, and develop governance, policies and training for the UK business.
