Manages enterprise information assurance and vulnerability management activities for a U.S. Air Force program. Responsibilities include processing cyber tasking orders, conducting ACAS vulnerability scans, directing patch remediation, maintaining compliance tracking systems, supporting Authority to Connect requirements, preparing security reports, and assisting with incident response, network defense, logging, and security documentation.

Conduct modeling and simulation studies for weapon systems, communications, radar, and mission-level analyses. Develop and validate structural, thermal, RF, antenna, threat, and network models; apply digital engineering, MBSE, digital thread, and digital twin techniques. Analyze system effectiveness, trade-offs, lethality, susceptibility, and performance using tools such as STK, AFSIM, MATLAB, Simulink, and C++. Collaborate onsite with analysts, government clients, vendors, and technical teams while producing technical reports, recommendations, and briefings.

Perform vulnerability scanning, assessment, remediation tracking, patch coordination, and compliance reporting in DoD enterprise environments. Develop PowerShell automation, manage Windows and Active Directory security configurations, coordinate remediation through ServiceNow, and support endpoint patching with HBSS/MECM. Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT operations, and compliance teams on RMF and STIG requirements while communicating risks and findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Manage the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management program, process USCYBERCOM and USAF cyber orders, conduct vulnerability scans, track patch compliance, support ATO requirements, maintain security documentation, and provide incident response and network defense support. The role requires vulnerability analysis, RMF and certification and accreditation experience, CISSP certification, familiarity with federal and DoD security standards, U.S. citizenship, and an active Secret clearance.

Oversee accounting, financial analysis, tax compliance, audits, cash management, accounts payable, payroll, internal controls, and international payroll operations. Prepare financial and vendor reports, monitor cash balances and credit facilities, supervise accounting staff, coordinate federal, state, and international tax obligations, and recommend improvements to financial policies and processes while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Provides tier 3 engineering and support for voice and communications networks. Configures, patches, secures, and enhances Cisco VoIP systems, including CUCM, Unity, Ribbon devices, presence services, and teleconference bridges. Develops SIP configurations for border elements, session border controllers, and connections to external customer networks, including Asterisk and Cisco VoIP environments. Maintains physical network infrastructure and supports network implementation and maintenance.

Manage and operate enterprise boundary/firewall systems, analyze logs and performance, troubleshoot and resolve firewall and network issues (including OpenBSD), configure DNS/BIND, implement backups, support VPN/ACLs/proxies, script UNIX solutions, assist deployments, and provide on-the-job training and LAN/WAN support.

Provide Tier 1 enterprise IT help desk and LAN/WAN support for AFCENT. Troubleshoot and resolve issues on network infrastructure, routers, switches, servers, firewalls, proxies and caching arrays; monitor performance; escalate complex incidents to Tier 2/3; perform LRA duties; support voice/video and provide 24/7/365 coverage and TDY CONUS support as required.

Analyze cyber intelligence and intrusion detection reports to assess and improve security posture on AFCENT networks. Produce reports, trend analyses, and POA&Ms; track IAVAs and security incidents; provide LAN/WAN and UNIX/Linux support; deliver on-shift training; and ensure AFCENT compliance with USCENTCOM policies.

Install, configure, maintain, and monitor IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, HBSS/ESS and related security devices; perform intrusion detection analysis, incident response planning, network troubleshooting, reporting, and countermeasure development; maintain DISA-mandated products and provide LAN/WAN support and TDY/shift coverage.
