Design and develop FPGA firmware for high-performance mixed-signal inspection systems. Define firmware requirements, implement designs from concept to production, create test benches and timing-closure flows, verify functionality with simulation and lab equipment, debug systems with hardware and software teams, and produce technical documentation for manufacturing and service.

Develop and demonstrate plasma etch processes on wafer-processing tools, process customer wafers, evaluate results with metrology (e.g., SEM), troubleshoot, document findings and reports, support field deployments, contribute to product and hardware testing, and provide technical customer support.

Perform mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, alignment, calibration, system integration, and final testing of semiconductor metrology machines in a cleanroom. Conduct market research and competitive analysis, define new product business plans, own product positioning and customer engagement, support pre- and post-sales, and manage regional/account penetration and adoption. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales. Travel 30–40%.

Develop and execute sourcing strategies, lead supplier relationships and negotiations, manage supplier business reviews and scorecards, ensure supply chain compliance, and drive technical solutions across manufacturing and procurement. Collaborate cross-functionally and support domestic and international supplier activities.

Define electrical subsystem requirements and design analog/digital circuits and PCBs. Implement and optimize high-speed FPGA designs, perform simulations (signal integrity, timing, thermal, power), develop test fixtures and scripts, conduct integration and debugging, participate in design reviews, and produce documentation and release packages while collaborating with cross-functional teams for product validation.

Oversee service engineering for products in their lifecycle. Coordinate with tech and support teams to improve reliability and serviceability, reducing costs and enhancing revenue.

Provide technical leadership for optical integration, calibration, troubleshooting, production support, and process improvement. Own optical alignment, focus/tilt adjustments, beam-path optimization, calibration, performance analysis, component qualification, root-cause investigations, DFM improvements, training, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D, systems, production, quality, and suppliers to ensure manufacturability, yield, and throughput.

The Software Engineer will design, develop, and optimize software for scientific computing, collaborating with scientists and engineers to create robust solutions. Responsibilities include coding, code reviews, testing, and maintaining software applications focused on modeling and computational workflows.
