Requires a science or engineering degree, strong English communication, Excel and PowerPoint skills, cleanroom work, and overnight-shift availability.

Develops and qualifies system calibrations, health checks, diagnostics, and optical subsystem improvements for semiconductor inspection equipment. Leads root-cause investigations, customer escalations, corrective actions, new product introduction activities, field qualification, and performance validation. Builds diagnostic tools, data-analysis utilities, scripts, and automation workflows while collaborating with software, mechanical, applications, field service, and customer support teams.

Collects on-tool data, spectra, logs, raw data, and images for customer test requests and planning. The role requires cleanroom work and an overnight shift.

Lead the complete design of optical subsystems for semiconductor wafer inspection products. Responsibilities include optical architecture tradeoffs, translating system requirements, developing alignment and metrology concepts, collaborating with suppliers and engineering teams, managing design reviews and procurement, testing and integration, and resolving prototype or released-system issues. The role requires advanced optics expertise, lens design experience, precision optical alignment, error budgeting, and proficiency with Code V or Zemax plus MATLAB or Python.
