The role requires customer engagement, communication, presentation, problem-solving, self-directed learning, and willingness to travel.

Supports Red Hat Tech Sales initiatives through project coordination, stakeholder engagement, business requirements documentation, data analysis, and preparation of reports, dashboards, and presentations. Projects may include sales skills development, improving discounting performance, customer references, and identifying business improvement opportunities. The intern works with program management, Sales, Tech Sales, and Services teams under mentorship.

Develops enterprise software sales expertise through Red Hat’s 12-month FASTER program. Learns to sell RHEL and related solutions, collaborates with channel partners, acquires new customers, manages territory opportunities, supports demand generation, forecasts revenue, progresses deals, and builds customer relationships. The role evolves into a full-cycle commercial sales position with performance-based compensation.

Provides entry-level technical account management and customer support through Red Hat’s 10-month FASTER development program. Responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, troubleshooting basic technical issues, documenting interactions, tracking resolutions, escalating complex problems, supporting onboarding, maintaining knowledge-base content, and developing expertise in cloud, automation, AI, and Red Hat technologies while collaborating with customers and internal teams.

Supports customer-facing implementation, delivery, and adoption of Red Hat enterprise technologies. The role includes a 10-month training program covering cloud, automation, AI, solution architecture, customer engagement, certifications, and real-world project work. Candidates should have technical skills in computer science or IT, enterprise project experience, communication abilities, and interest in open source technologies. Regular customer-site travel and Secret clearance or higher are required for NAPS.

Supports growth with global OEM partners in Japan by executing joint business plans, go-to-market initiatives, pipeline management, partner field activation, commercial processes, and business governance. Coordinates Red Hat and partner sales, technical, marketing, and operations stakeholders; tracks opportunities, risks, actions, and milestones; supports strategic initiatives involving AI, hybrid cloud, virtualization, and platform modernization. The role expands from assigned workstreams to broader partner account ownership as capabilities develop.

Leads technical strategy across customer sales and success lifecycles. Advises sales teams, designs and demonstrates solutions, responds to RFPs, removes technical sales blockers, and owns technical wins. Develops customer success plans, supports onboarding and implementation, manages account strategy, provides ongoing technical guidance, and identifies expansion opportunities. Requires strong Red Hat, Linux, Ansible, OpenShift, cloud, DevOps, solution architecture, consultative selling, communication, project management, and customer relationship skills.

Lead the creation and delivery of Red Hat’s IT strategy advisory service in Japan. Advise CXO-level clients on business, IT, AI, and legacy modernization strategies; develop roadmaps, target-state architectures, BPR initiatives, RFPs, and vendor selections. Provide PMO support, build consensus among stakeholders, communicate technology value, support sales and partnerships, and help define the offering, methodology, branding, and go-to-market strategy.

Design and deliver production-grade enterprise AI architecture blueprints and open-source Quickstarts. Build integrations, benchmarking/evaluation harnesses, and secure, compliant deployment patterns across cloud-native and heterogeneous hardware environments.

Lead enterprise sales opportunities for Red Hat OpenShift and hybrid cloud solutions across key accounts and new customers. Build account plans, advise senior executives, conduct customer meetings, support deal progression and closure, and develop strategic customer relationships. Guide organizations through virtualization-to-cloud transformation, connect technical solutions to business needs, and collaborate with marketing, product, engineering, professional services, and support teams. The role requires expertise in hybrid cloud, DevOps, Generative AI, MLOps, and AI inference, plus fluency in English and French.
