Supports Red Hat’s Global Commercial Sales team through AI and sales lifecycle initiatives. Responsibilities include tracking projects, organizing meetings, documenting business requirements, analyzing data, identifying trends, preparing reports and dashboards, and recommending improvements to sales execution and go-to-market strategy. The intern will collaborate with sales, technology sales, services, program management, and other stakeholders while participating in professional development and networking activities.

Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and tests software supporting reference architectures. Analyzes architecture designs, defines integration requirements, develops validation procedures, coordinates CI/CD pipelines, and updates hardware specifications as systems reach end of life or new capabilities become available.

Supports Deal Management and Sales by reviewing and developing non-standard contract language, coordinating Legal and stakeholder input, checking agreements for policy compliance, documenting deal components, and maintaining clause libraries and contract repositories. The intern collaborates with geographically dispersed teams, analyzes business terms, communicates with internal and external stakeholders, and helps deliver contracts aligned with customer needs and corporate policies.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites, test environments, and testing frameworks using Python. Build tooling for infrastructure deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and test-result reporting. Manage strategic enterprise accounts for Red Hat's financial services business. Sell the full Red Hat portfolio, develop customer relationships, manage complex sales cycles, achieve sales quotas, and promote open source, cloud, Linux, container, and Kubernetes solutions. Lead extended teams of product specialists, technologists, and professional services managers while engaging stakeholders across application development, architecture, operations, executive leadership, and business units.

Provides technology consulting and hands-on engineering for enterprise middleware, OpenShift, Kafka, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions. Designs and develops JEE applications, data pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and distributed systems; troubleshoots production issues and participates in 24/7 on-call support. Advises customers during workshops, proofs of concept, deployments, and transformation engagements while coaching team members and supporting presales and post-sales activities.

Lead enterprise OpenShift and cloud-native solution delivery, including discovery sessions, architecture design, implementation planning, customer expectation management, and pre-sales support. Mentor technical teams, communicate architecture and project status to stakeholders, support hiring assessments and promotion panels, and contribute to Red Hat’s consulting practice. The role requires strong expertise in Kubernetes, container security, automation, storage, and related Red Hat technologies.

Provides technical pre- and post-sales support for Red Hat Managed OpenShift cloud services. Partners with account teams and customers to identify adoption blockers, design enterprise-ready architectures, conduct technical deep dives and proofs of concept, and guide organizations toward production. Advises technical and executive stakeholders, supports success planning, provides product feedback, and develops customer relationships to drive cloud-services adoption, revenue, and renewals.

Drive enterprise OpenShift sales across the Carolinas-to-Florida region by building technical credibility, uncovering customer needs, leading technical sales cycles, and positioning Red Hat for cloud-native modernization, hybrid cloud, virtualization migration, AI application development, and edge computing. Translate architectures into business value, collaborate with account teams, develop strategic partnerships, and own pipeline, quota attainment, and customer outcomes.

Software Engineering interns work with mentors and international teams to design, develop, maintain, debug, and enhance Red Hat products such as RHEL and OpenShift. Interns collaborate with Quality Engineering, Design, Product Management, and Documentation teams while learning technologies including Python, Golang, Ansible, OpenShift, and AI. The program provides professional development, networking, curriculum, and hands-on project experience.
