Own the full sales cycle for higher education SaaS and services, from territory development and prospecting through negotiation and close. Build relationships with college and university leaders, navigate complex purchasing processes, develop business cases, manage pipelines and forecasts, and consistently achieve new-business revenue targets. The role requires consultative selling, multi-stakeholder consensus building, CRM discipline, and approximately 20–30% travel.

Own company-wide adoption of Claude and Cursor, build agentic workflows from Slack or Jira tasks through tested pull requests, and develop AI automation across engineering and business teams. Partner with product on rapid prototyping, establish security and human-review guardrails, train employees, manage pilots, and measure productivity gains. The role requires deep hands-on AI tooling expertise, strong software engineering experience, cross-functional communication, and a focus on safe adoption.

Design end-to-end user experiences for a new product, including user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished UI. Collaborate with product, engineering, customers, higher education partners, and students to research needs, test concepts, evolve the brand, and maintain the design system. Experiment with AI tools and emerging workflows, support accessible design, and deliver developer-ready assets.

Generates qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold calling, personalized email, LinkedIn outreach, discovery conversations, and lead qualification. Maintains CRM records, manages high-volume daily activities, supports events and webinars, and collaborates with marketing and Account Executives on account-based strategies. Uses HubSpot, Salesforce, Gong, AI, and LinkedIn prospecting tools to refine messaging and build pipeline.
