Supports systems engineering across the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, integration, testing, verification, and validation. Develops technical documentation and engineering artifacts, analyzes system components and interfaces, supports MBSE and digital engineering, identifies technical risks, and collaborates with cross-functional teams and DoD customers.

Provides technical leadership and systems engineering support for Navy Shore VLF communications systems. Evaluates electrical, RF, mechanical, software, and control systems; identifies integration challenges and technical risks; leads engineering discussions; supports DoD acquisition lifecycle activities; and delivers technical assessments and recommendations to Government program leadership.

Designs and applies cybersecurity engineering practices across the system lifecycle for Navy and DoD mission systems. Responsibilities include threat modeling, vulnerability and attack-path analysis, cyber risk assessment, defensive technology evaluation, mitigation development, and communicating recommendations to multidisciplinary engineering and customer teams. The role requires active DoD Secret clearance and eligibility to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Assess cybersecurity posture across DoD mission systems using continuous monitoring data and security tools. Evaluate vulnerabilities, controls, remediation, and monitoring coverage; correlate risks across programs; identify systemic trends; coordinate remediation with engineering and cybersecurity teams; and provide technical recommendations, metrics, briefings, and documentation to leadership and government stakeholders.
