Plans, writes, and executes system-level verification tests for VTOL electric aircraft in integrated test labs. Performs Pilot-in-the-Loop and Test Director responsibilities, develops formal procedures and SOPs, maintains test-lab configuration and calibration records, drives root-cause corrective actions, and creates tools for safe, repeatable testing. Leads international aircraft certification and validation projects with civil aviation authorities. Coordinates engineering, regulatory, and cross-functional stakeholders; develops compliance strategies, applicant positions, certification plans, and regulatory data packages. Manages project schedules, resources, budgets, risks, and mitigation plans while supporting airworthiness, flight operations, maintenance, safety, manufacturing, and commercialization activities. Represents the company in authority meetings and ensures alignment between FAA and international certification programs.

Develop and test safety-critical embedded software for novel aircraft and flight automation systems. Responsibilities include defining triplex compute platform architecture, integrating peripheral devices, hardening real-time Linux systems, implementing communication protocols, and building hardware- and software-in-the-loop simulation, testing, and automation infrastructure.

Lead product design for air taxi operational software, including flight scheduling, pilot electronic flight bags, terminal logistics, and ramp operations. Collaborate with product, engineering, and flight operations teams to optimize aviation workflows. Build and govern a scalable design system across Web, iOS, and Android, including components, tokens, patterns, documentation, accessibility standards, and AI-enabled design workflows.

Leads planning, execution, and analysis of advanced flight tests for autonomous aircraft systems. Directs cross-functional engineers and pilots, develops flight-test policies and tools, supports civil and military airworthiness activities, investigates unusual aircraft behavior, and advises leadership on test strategy and autonomous software integration. Requires extensive flight-test experience, pilot certification, aerospace expertise, and experience with fly-by-wire aircraft, avionics, or automation.

Designs, integrates, and deploys electromechanical battery test equipment connected to high-voltage batteries and data acquisition hardware. Develops battery safety lab expansion plans, executes cell and battery testing, builds data pipelines and dashboards, and maintains equipment documentation and compliance for certification. Requires hands-on mechanical and electrical engineering, battery safety, sensing, data processing, CAD, and test equipment experience.

Develop and commission custom electromechanical manufacturing equipment for aircraft assembly and testing. Design scalable PLC software in Structured Text, build HMIs, create electrical schematics and panel layouts, select controls components and sensors, and support wiring, validation, and production deployment.
