Lead design and implementation of high-performance, cloud-native data plane systems for traffic processing and policy enforcement. Build low-latency, scalable packet-processing pipelines (L4-L7), optimize throughput and resource use, integrate with control plane policy distribution, debug production performance bottlenecks, and mentor engineers to raise systems and performance engineering practices.

Own and develop a high-throughput, multi-threaded C++17 content filtering server platform. Drive architecture, security hardening (UDP protocol encryption/key management), code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, packaging, mentor senior engineers, and coordinate US–India engineering efforts.

Develop, maintain, and harden the Content Filtering Service client in SonicOS. Implement and own UDP binary protocol, IPv4/IPv6 datapath code, firmware upgrade/migration paths, and multi-blade cache synchronization. Improve dataplane reliability, document concurrency and upgrade invariants, and collaborate with distributed server and engineering teams.

The Senior Principal Engineer will lead the technical vision for the Cloud Secure Edge platform, focusing on architecture and scalability, while mentoring engineers and setting engineering standards.
