Develop and maintain Okta’s enterprise access governance platform at scale. Own features end to end, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, bug fixes, and customer issues. Partner with product, architecture, and AI/ML teams; support production systems; integrate third-party applications; and deliver secure, scalable Workday AI capabilities.

Build and scale Okta’s identity onboarding and lifecycle management platform. Design and implement services for importing, synchronizing, and provisioning identities and access policies. Design end-to-end experiences for Okta Privileged Access, serving IT and security administrators, infrastructure engineers, and developers. Partner with product management, engineering, marketing, UX writing, and data science to solve complex identity and security challenges. Incorporate AI into design workflows and ensure high standards for usability, technical accuracy, and design-system adherence.

Design, build, deploy, and optimize scalable, high-performance data platform services and streaming infrastructure. Develop systems supporting analytics, machine learning, telemetry, and data products using distributed technologies. Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams, participate in design and code reviews, tune performance, debug production issues, and mentor engineers. The role requires backend software development, database expertise, API design, and distributed systems experience.

Owns quality for enterprise identity governance features from design through production. Responsibilities include creating test plans, automating API, integration, end-to-end, and UI testing, building performance and reliability tests, validating data integrity, integrating deterministic CI release gates, troubleshooting distributed systems, reviewing code, addressing production issues, and partnering with engineering, product, design, SRE, and customer teams.
