Own and administer Okta’s enterprise Jira and Confluence ecosystem for a 1,000+ person engineering, product, and design organization. Define tooling strategy, standardize workflows, govern data, automate reporting, integrate AI capabilities, and manage configuration changes. Partner with technical and product leadership to improve engineering processes, enable users, support agile planning, and provide accurate delivery and productivity insights.

The role also includes mentoring engineers, leading postmortems, and collaborating across global SRE teams.

Acquire new mid-market customers for Okta’s identity and access management solutions. Responsibilities include prospecting, generating pipeline, managing territory quotas, conducting product demonstrations, collaborating with marketing, SDRs, solution engineers, partners, and customer success teams, closing new-logo business, facilitating onboarding, forecasting sales, and maintaining customer relationships until handoff.

Build and maintain full-stack Identity Governance software for federal customers. Architect scalable backend services, frontend interfaces, cloud and on-premises infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and secure deployments across classified and air-gapped environments. Ensure audit readiness, security compliance, reliability, and least-privilege access. Partner with Product and Design, address technical debt, make organization-wide architectural decisions, and mentor engineers while applying AI throughout the software development lifecycle.

Define and evolve Okta Federal's air-gapped SIPR/JWICS architecture. Design IaC and hardened toolchains (Platform One/Big Bang/Iron Bank), enable Kubernetes in disconnected environments, translate DISA STIGs/RMF into automated controls, guide Cross Domain Solutions and Zero Trust implementations, and collaborate with engineering, SRE, and security teams to measure platform security and developer experience.

Define the architectural vision and roadmap for Okta’s UI platform infrastructure. Build scalable shared libraries, frameworks, reusable components, and design patterns that enable globally accessible, world-ready applications. Lead architecture reviews, cross-functional technical alignment, and implementation of foundational platform components. Mentor senior engineers, establish engineering best practices, and ensure technical quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards across distributed feature teams.

Lead Okta’s global technical recruiting organization across the Americas, EMEA, and APJ. Develop talent acquisition strategy, manage recruiting leaders, advise C-level Product and Technology executives, and optimize technical hiring capacity, assessment standards, analytics, candidate experience, compensation strategy, and employer branding. Drive predictable hiring delivery for specialized engineering and product roles while building scalable, AI-enabled recruiting practices and maintaining high technical hiring standards.

Leads a Solutions Engineering team supporting state, local, and higher education accounts across the United States. Responsibilities include developing and mentoring engineers, managing demonstrations, technical evaluations, trials, proof-of-value engagements, deal strategy, executive sponsorship, recruiting, and reporting business impact. The role partners closely with Sales and other teams to drive growth, advises public-sector customers on Okta solutions, and supports complex security and identity opportunities.
