As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll design and build high-performance distributed systems for Managed Gateways, leading features end-to-end and ensuring reliability and uptime for APIs.

Operate and improve Kong's cloud platform by building IaC, automation, monitoring, and incident response. Ensure reliability and scalability through container orchestration, CI/CD, capacity planning, disaster recovery, security hardening, and participating in on-call rotations.

Serve as a strategic partner to key customers to drive retention, adoption and growth. Develop account plans, monitor customer health, lead change and program management, collaborate with sales/product/support, run executive reviews, and identify upsell opportunities while managing technical escalations.
