Leads and scales Kong’s international deal desk across EMEA and APJ. Oversees team development, pricing strategy, discount governance, complex enterprise deal structuring, quote-to-cash optimization, compliance, reporting, and operational automation. Partners with Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, and Customer Success to improve deal velocity, profitability, and customer experience while supporting new product pricing and sales enablement.

Lead Kong’s strategic sales organization across the Nordics, driving enterprise customer acquisition, account growth, revenue performance, forecasting, and sales-target achievement. Responsibilities include recruiting and retaining talent, coaching account executives on sales methodologies and deal execution, managing territories and pipeline generation, conducting forecast reviews, and collaborating with marketing, partners, and senior leadership.

Design, implement, deploy, and operate resilient control-plane services for Kong’s API gateway ecosystem. Lead architecture decisions, improve scalability and reliability, resolve complex networking and configuration issues, influence cloud-native roadmaps, collaborate across teams, and mentor engineers. The role focuses on Golang, distributed systems, Kubernetes, microservices, APIs, PostgreSQL, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.

Build and maintain Kong’s AI Gateway software, including multi-LLM routing, semantic caching, MCP, proxying, load balancing, database support, and deployment integrations. Troubleshoot bugs, tune performance, optimize low-level systems, and develop scalable, distributed, reliable services.
