Optimize PostgreSQL performance, evolve APIs (GraphQL/REST), build capacity planning and work-item hierarchies, create proofs of concept, maintain automated tests, support safe rollouts with feature flags and observability, mentor contributors, and participate in on-call and production troubleshooting.

Lead backend work for GitLab's Spec-Driven Development: design and build APIs, data models, evaluation systems, and agent-driven workflows using Ruby on Rails and Python. Ship production services, benchmark LLM workflows, coordinate multi-person projects, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and design in an all-remote, async environment.

Serve as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of customers to drive adoption and measurable outcomes with GitLab. Provide deployment guidance, lead workshops and Centers of Excellence, translate product usage data into actionable recommendations, monitor KPIs, manage regular touchpoints per SLAs, and collaborate cross-functionally to align on customer success and expansion plans.

Lead technical execution on GitLab's CD platform, solving complex engineering problems, mentoring engineers, and ensuring system quality and scalability.

Build and maintain performant, secure frontend features for repository management using Vue.js and GraphQL. Collaborate across product, design, and backend teams, improve reliability and observability, write tests, participate in on-call and incident response, and apply AI tools responsibly to accelerate development while ensuring quality and safety.

Lead and build the engineering org to deliver Cells and Organizations: cell provisioning, routing/topology, data migration tooling, multi-cloud multi-region footprint, and migration execution. Hire and develop managers and senior ICs, coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Infrastructure, and Security, and measure production adoption, availability, latency, cost, and team throughput.

Design and build GitLab Duo CLI features in TypeScript, shape AI-assisted developer experiences, improve CLI reliability, observability, and performance, collaborate across Developer Clients, and provide technical leadership and mentorship.

Own and grow a book of SMB and mid-market accounts in Northern Cone. Prospect, run complex sales cycles, articulate GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps value, collaborate cross-functionally, support adoption and renewals, and reduce churn while using structured selling methodologies.
