The Strategic Account Manager manages high-value enterprise accounts, builds executive relationships, executes strategic plans, and drives growth by enhancing product adoption and customer value.

Lead design and implementation of customer-facing AI features and foundational AI infrastructure (orchestration, retrieval, evals, context management). Own and grow a mixed book of enterprise customers and prospects; run full enterprise sales cycles, evangelize Amplitude's platform, build pipeline via outbound and partners, apply MEDDPICC rigor, multi-thread across stakeholders, and collaborate with SDRs, Solutions Consultants, Customer Success and Legal to close net-new logos and expand accounts.

Lead cross-team platform initiatives to improve developer experience, reliability, security, and cost. Design AI-augmented platform tooling, IaC standards for Kubernetes/AWS/GCP, evolve CI/CD (Argo/GitHub Actions), drive observability (Datadog/Amplitude), own incident response and postmortems, mentor engineers, and translate product needs into platform investments.

Lead design and development of Amplitude's core iOS SDKs (Analytics, Session Replay), set technical direction and cross-SDK architecture, improve performance, reliability, and developer experience, design stable public APIs and shared infrastructure, collaborate with Product and Support, and lead cross-team technical decisions, testing, documentation, and tooling.

Design and build core parts of Amplitude's query/compute engine and compute API. Evolve semantic data models, improve query planning/execution performance and scalability, integrate non-event data, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end projects.
