As a Software Engineer at Genworth, you will enhance and support a Flask-based web app, build APIs, design database access patterns, and collaborate with teams for deployment and operations.

Support and execute product and brand marketing campaigns, develop customer-segment collateral, coordinate events and trade shows, create content across blogs, email, and social, design collateral with Canva/Adobe, manage digital channels (email, web, paid social), and coordinate vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.

Lead the modernization of an Assessment platform: architect and implement web and mobile solutions, enforce engineering standards, build CI/CD and DevSecOps practices, ensure scalability, reliability, and security, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, security, and operations to deliver production-ready B2B and B2C platforms.

Lead cross-functional analytics initiatives, develop and deploy advanced statistical and machine‑learning models, build repeatable data pipelines and features, perform deep exploratory analysis, ensure model governance and reproducibility, partner with senior leaders to translate business needs into technical solutions, and contribute to data modernization and cloud migration efforts supporting long‑term care strategy.

Design, implement, and operate foundational AWS platform services including landing zones, networking, identity, governance, and shared services. Lead investment accounting for the fixed income portfolio, overseeing transaction processing, reconciliations, valuation and impairment, SEC and statutory reporting, SOX controls, audits, policy implementation, and cross-functional collaboration to support new investment initiatives.
