As an Enterprise Sales Engineer, you'll provide technical support during sales processes, deliver presentations to clients, and engage with customers to ensure successful technical evaluations and product integration.

The Enterprise Sales Executive will target and close business with major clients, focusing on their migration to cloud environments and delivering solutions. Responsibilities include maintaining relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring business forecasts are accurate.

Lead end-to-end product design for APM and observability workflows: partner with PMs and engineers, prototype and validate solutions (including AI-assisted and code-aware tooling), conduct research, mentor designers, and influence cross-functional product strategy to improve debugging, instrumentation, and performance investigation for complex distributed systems.

Lead detection engineering for Datadog Cloud SIEM by researching attacker techniques, building scalable detections and AI-assisted investigation workflows, owning detection lifecycles, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Security Research to improve platform security coverage across cloud-native and enterprise environments.

Provide advanced technical support for public-sector customers running mission-critical, highly regulated hybrid and multi-cloud workloads on Datadog. Troubleshoot complex issues across integrations, APIs, networking, cloud, and OS layers; handle escalations and incidents; mentor junior engineers; collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to validate bugs and drive adoption. Work in-office on a hybrid schedule and participate in on-call rotations.

Partner with Sales to deliver technical presentations, demos, and proofs-of-value; own trial-phase technical engagement; resolve customer issues; maintain CRM notes; provide product feedback to prioritize features and technically close complex enterprise opportunities.

The Regional Director of Enterprise Sales will lead a team, drive new business, set sales quotas, and develop go-to-market strategies while coaching sales executives.
