Lead the engineering team to develop Tulip's new agent-native app-building product, managing technical architecture and fostering AI-driven development practices.

Lead and grow a senior SaaS engineering team; hire, mentor, and set engineering standards. Drive cross-functional delivery with product and design, ensure testing, observability, and multicloud deployments, and architect systems that integrate generative/agentic AI while cultivating an AI-first culture.

Lead a small engineering team owning identity & access architecture and roadmap (SSO/OIDC/SAML, SCIM, multi-tenant isolation, authorization) across Tulip's multi-cloud environment. Stay hands-on in design and code, enforce automated tests and runbooks, partner with Security, Infrastructure, Product and Customer Success, and drive adoption of AI tooling in the SDLC to accelerate safe, reliable delivery.

Build and maintain internal agentic AI platforms and developer tools, including skills, plugins, MCP servers, integrations, evaluation standards, secure tool-access patterns, and onboarding resources. Partner with engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, and QA teams to identify AI opportunities, improve developer workflows, measure adoption and impact, and support organizational AI enablement through learning programs and change management.

Own Tulip’s market and competitive intelligence function, including battlecards, analyst briefings, category monitoring, and quarterly win/loss programs. Translate buyer behavior, customer feedback, and competitive signals into positioning, sales enablement, product insights, and GTM strategy. Develop AI-enabled research workflows, establish operating metrics, and collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, industry experts, and executives to improve competitive win rates and pipeline quality.

Own Tulip’s content strategy and editorial programs, creating thought leadership, campaign assets, customer stories, social content, and sales enablement materials. Partner with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales, and Design to connect content with pipeline and revenue. Build AI-assisted editorial workflows, manage external contributors, support major events and launches, and use performance data to improve content effectiveness and adoption.

Design, build, and deploy Tulip manufacturing solutions for Japanese enterprise customers. Responsibilities include identifying shop-floor improvement opportunities, integrating PLCs and MES/ERP and quality systems, troubleshooting software and operational workflows, leading customer deployments, advising on architecture and scalability, and translating customer feedback into reusable product capabilities. The role works directly with plant stakeholders and requires substantial travel, technical leadership, and fluent business-level Japanese and English.

Conduct targeted outbound prospecting, account research, cold calling, and inbound lead qualification for enterprise manufacturing accounts. Personalize outreach using buying signals and AI-enabled tools, book introductory meetings with operations and engineering leaders, and maintain account momentum in partnership with Account Executives. Share prospect feedback, objection patterns, and account intelligence during pipeline and account reviews.

Own Tulip’s revenue data architecture and strategy, using SQL, BI, and AI to improve account targeting, pricing, forecasting, retention, and expansion. Build health scores, churn and upsell models, renewal pricing strategies, and executive-level NRR/GRR reporting. Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Services, Support, Finance, Product, and executive leadership while mentoring analysts and commercial teams on data-driven decision-making.
