Leads the technical vision and architecture for Remitly’s Core Transfer Experience organization. Responsibilities include modernizing high-traffic distributed systems, defining service and experience-layer boundaries, improving reliability and operational excellence, enabling AI-native experiences, guiding incremental migrations, setting technical strategy across teams, mentoring senior engineers, and contributing hands-on code and system analysis across backend, mobile, and web platforms.

Collaborate with business, finance, accounting, and legal teams while managing multiple priorities and leveraging AI tools to improve M&A and analytical efficiency.

Own the vision, roadmap, business outcomes, and go-to-market strategy for Remitly’s AI-powered conversational experiences. Lead cross-functional teams to scale chat-based remittance journeys, launch integrations with platforms such as ChatGPT and Claude, optimize product-led growth funnels, and use research, experimentation, analytics, and AI quality metrics to improve conversion, retention, engagement, customer satisfaction, and cost-to-serve.

Lead growth for USA→South Asia and USA→Southeast Asia corridors through strategy, analytics, and operations. Own region-specific product roadmap, set KPIs, build business cases, partner across product, engineering, marketing, pricing, and customer service, and drive execution to acquire and retain customers while improving profitability and experience.

As an AI Native Software Engineer, you'll build products using AI coding agents, translating customer needs into solutions, and ensuring quality delivery and documentation.
