Participates in MassMutual’s rotational Actuarial Leadership Development Program, supporting actuarial work across business and corporate units. Completes meaningful projects, develops technical and leadership skills, receives mentorship, and prepares for Society of Actuaries exams. Responsibilities include applying quantitative knowledge, managing multiple projects, collaborating across teams, attending professional seminars, and pursuing Fellowship designation with support for exam preparation and fees.

Analyzes business needs and translates insurance product objectives into clear, testable business and systems requirements. Documents functional requirements, user stories, workflows, data and integration impacts, business rules, and acceptance criteria. Partners with product, architecture, engineering, QA, operations, vendors, and business stakeholders throughout delivery. Facilitates discovery and review sessions, supports solution definition, testing, traceability, change management, risk communication, and implementation readiness across insurance technology initiatives.

Lead multiple technical project workstreams from planning through implementation. Manage scope, schedules, dependencies, budgets, resources, risks, issues, vendors, and change requests while ensuring quality and timely delivery. Partner with business and technology stakeholders, provide project reporting, influence priorities, resolve barriers, and align initiatives with strategic objectives across Institutional Solutions Technology.

Develop and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using React, Node.js, AWS, and Kubernetes. Own complex features from design through deployment, ensuring performance, security, reliability, and maintainability. Participate in architecture and code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and process improvement. Collaborate with product, UX, architecture, marketing, analytics, and compliance teams, while mentoring developers and supporting modern cloud, AI-enabled, personalization, and platform modernization initiatives.

The Investment Tax Manager oversees tax provision, compliance, and operations for investment assets, providing technical guidance, identifying issues, and mentoring team members while driving process improvements.

Support and maintain financial controls for insurance operations, perform reconciliations and general ledger entries (SAP/TCC), manage monthly/quarterly closes, provide analysis and audit support, lead process improvements, and oversee offshore resources.

Lead development, execution, and governance of actuarial projection models (Prophet/GGY AXIS) for forecasting, capital planning, ALM, and stress testing across GAAP, Statutory, and economic bases. Lead a team of actuaries and quantitative consultants to own pricing models, assumption development, in-force analytics, and product pricing for Institutional Insurance (BOLI/COLI/ICOLI). Partner with sales, operations, and governance stakeholders to support new business, monitor profitability and risk, ensure model and assumption governance compliance, and drive process automation and continuous improvement.

Lead and manage investment accounting, reporting, controls, and close processes for commercial mortgage loan and real estate portfolios. Oversee third-party administrators, deliver financial analysis and reporting, support audits, implement accounting requirements and ledger/technology initiatives, and drive process improvement while leading and developing a team.

Own the technical product vision, roadmap, and backlog for worksite technology platforms. Lead engineering delivery, Agile execution, architecture decisions, platform stability, incident management, vendor governance, integrations, and DevOps improvements. Drive cloud-first, API-driven, event-enabled solutions using microservices, Kafka, AWS, and related technologies while balancing business priorities, technical constraints, reliability, and operational excellence.
