Lead research and applied science for personalization and recommender systems across Crunchyroll products. Define problems, build and evaluate models (ranking, retrieval, sequence, bandits, LLM-enabled approaches), design offline/online experiments, collaborate with product and engineering to productionize solutions, and establish best practices for experimentation, reproducibility, and model governance to improve discovery, engagement, and long-term user value.

Lead database strategy, optimize SQL and application performance, design scalable AWS-native database architectures (RDS/Aurora/DynamoDB), perform deep database internals forensics, drive automation and IaC, mentor engineers, and partner with SRE and data teams to standardize monitoring, alerting, and DatabaseOps practices for large-scale data infrastructure.

Design, implement, and operate identity and access management solutions (Okta, Entra ID, AD, Google Workspace). Manage SSO, MFA, federation, conditional access, lifecycle workflows, PAM, and integrations with HR and SaaS. Automate identity operations, support audits and access reviews, troubleshoot authentication/authorization issues, monitor identity systems, and partner with stakeholders to onboard applications and ensure least-privilege access.

Manage and scale Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud for CX: configure case management, build Flow automations, maintain security and data integrity, support releases and CI/CD, collaborate with cross-functional teams and integrate AI-driven CX solutions.

Lead design and full-stack development of an Internal Developer Portal (IDP). Own product strategy, architect scalable backend services and developer-centric UI workflows, implement measurement frameworks, drive platform adoption and standards, participate in on-call rotations, and coordinate cross-functionally to reduce operational toil and improve developer productivity.

Lead accounting for Crunchyroll's Mexico entity: prepare and review financial statements, ensure Mexican GAAP/IFRS and SOX compliance, manage NetSuite entries, treasury, intercompany invoicing and reconciliations, payroll, AP/AR, fixed assets, audits, and risk controls. Partner with global teams and local management, provide financial analysis, budgeting support, and improve processes.

Lead regional communications strategy across Asia for anime launches, theatrical releases, partnerships and brand campaigns. Provide executive counsel, manage crisis response, oversee agencies, localize campaigns, build media and fan relationships, set KPIs, and drive integrated PR programs supporting regional growth.
