Supports funeral and memorial services by greeting and directing families and guests, escorting visitors, answering questions, distributing materials, arranging flowers and refreshments, and preparing public spaces. Represents the funeral home with professionalism, empathy, tact, and integrity. Requires physical activity, lifting up to 100 pounds, exposure to outdoor conditions and potential bloodborne pathogens, safe work practices, and the ability to drive a company vehicle with an insurable driving record.

Oversee all funeral home and cemetery operations, including memorial services, burials, cremations, staffing, financial planning, compliance, facilities, suppliers, and capital expenditures. Coach department heads, monitor client-family satisfaction and financial performance, develop local marketing initiatives, sponsor community events, and build relationships with community leaders. Ensure permits, inspections, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements remain current while supporting business growth and service quality.

Oversee day-to-day funeral home and cemetery operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage finances and vendor relationships, coach staff, develop marketing and community outreach, maintain facilities, and support grieving families through services, burials, and cremations.

Provides broad in-house legal support across corporate operations, litigation, employment matters, data privacy, commercial contracts, compliance, regulatory filings, and risk management. Advises field locations and business partners, leads investigations, negotiates vendor and commercial agreements, manages external counsel, supports corporate transactions, and contributes to enterprise-wide compliance and strategic initiatives.

Support and configure Dynamics Business Central and related ERP systems; troubleshoot transactions, permissions, workflows; optimize O2C, P2P, and inventory processes; gather requirements, support UAT, partner with developers on enhancements, and produce documentation and reporting.

Provide clerical and receptionist support including answering calls, coordinating calendars and meetings, maintaining cemetery and property records, preparing interment documents and deeds, reconciling records, maintaining Excel tracking logs, entering data into CFSS, processing payments and deposits, and responding to customer inquiries.

Provide client-facing support during visitations and memorial services: greet and escort guests, prepare public spaces, manage flowers and refreshments, assist families and funeral directors, and perform physical tasks as required.

Lead and manage a sales team for advanced planning at cemetery locations, drive sales strategies to meet targets, recruit and train staff, generate community leads, analyze sales results and resolve contract/commission issues, meet with client families, ensure service quality, and handle related administrative and safety duties.

Meet with families to arrange personalized memorial services, manage paperwork and compliance, attend and conduct services, work on-call, use company systems for contracts and merchandise, direct staff, participate in community outreach, and complete company training.
