Lead month-end close and financial reporting for the funeral home accounting group. Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet and inventory reconciliations, variance analysis, and supporting schedules for filings. Supervise and train staff accountants, coordinate audit PBC requests, improve processes and controls, and support ad hoc projects and system testing. Provide financial analysis and collaborate with corporate and field personnel.
