The Senior ML/AI Engineer will enhance developer productivity for AV engineers at GM by designing, implementing scalable, reliable systems and mentoring team members.

Lead design, build, and operate scalable observability systems for distributed cloud and on-vehicle environments. Contribute code and reviews, create technical designs, build tooling to collect observability signals, run PoCs for new tools, partner with engineering teams, define SLIs/SLOs, guide roadmap decisions, and mentor engineers to improve developer productivity and reliability.

Perform vehicle-level structural and comfort FEA for seat projects: develop FEA plans, create subsystem models, produce VDDV models from NX, run linear (Nastran/OptiStruct) and nonlinear (LS-DYNA) analyses, correlate to physical tests, recommend and implement design solutions, document reports, and provide technical leadership on program deliverables.

Envision future in-vehicle experiences through foresight, conceptual visualization, animation, prototyping, and 2D/3D design. Create storyboards, UI explorations, motion graphics, and presentation-ready design assets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate emerging trends and technologies into compelling customer-centered vehicle experience concepts and handoff-ready visuals.

Lead and grow a team delivering high-voltage battery systems controls and software (BMS) for EVs/PHEVs. Drive requirements, controls, diagnostics, software, calibration, validation, automation, integration, and deployment within an agile/SAFe framework. Mentor engineers, manage budgets and resources, build cross-functional partnerships, and champion technical excellence, innovation, and inclusive leadership to support GM's electrification strategy.

Lead development, integration, and validation of embedded transmission control algorithms and software. Translate requirements into designs, implement and test in SIL/HIL/bench environments, troubleshoot issues, collaborate with calibration, systems, and validation teams, and provide technical leadership to deliver production-ready controls that meet GM software standards.

Lead and grow an embedded software team building MCU platform software for autonomous vehicles. Set technical direction, drive delivery of safe, reliable production code, improve engineering processes, remove roadblocks, mentor engineers, collaborate cross-functionally, and recruit talent to meet roadmap and quality goals.
