Collaborates with IT, controls engineers, and subject matter experts on planning, training, and execution. Requires up to 25% domestic travel and a hybrid schedule with three in-office days.

Integrates sensing devices into vehicle subsystems, especially exterior lighting. Maintains interface control strategies, technical specifications, and commodity documentation. Owns component development through requirements, design, validation, launch, and production support while applying DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, ECM, CAD/PLM, structural analysis, GD&T, and structured problem-solving methods.

Leads controls engineers supporting industrial automation and controls systems in casting operations. Responsibilities include PLC, HMI, drive, network, safety, and equipment troubleshooting; controls planning and commissioning; hardware and software design review; project estimation and execution; device analytics initiatives; safety compliance; statistical problem solving; and cross-functional coordination with plant teams, suppliers, contractors, and leadership.

Supports machining production by improving safety, quality, throughput, and efficiency.
