Senior-level software engineer responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and testing real-time software for defense systems (electronic warfare, secure communications, radar). Partner with program and product leads, implement software strategy and processes, and perform hands-on integration and release activities. Requires leadership, collaboration, and process improvement focus.

Serve as engineering authority for USAF avionics and EW sustainment programs. Lead technical governance, obsolescence mitigation, design reviews, roadmap development, cross-functional coordination, talent development, and ensure Airworthiness, Product Safety, and competitive technical proposals.

Lead USAF avionics and EW sustainment programs, owning cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality. Direct cross-functional teams, engage government customers and primes, manage contracts (IDIQ/Task Order), drive capture and proposals, optimize resources, and apply continuous improvement to achieve strategic growth and operational excellence.

Develop and architect embedded software for space payloads. Write C/C++ code, collaborate across disciplines and sites, respond to evolving requirements, and support payload development for satellite/RF programs while meeting security and program constraints.

Provide engineering production support for naval systems: analyze drawings and specs, generate and manage problem reports and variances, develop fixes, recommend design enhancements, use CAD and measurement tools, coordinate with production/quality/supply chain, maintain configuration and safety in a manufacturing environment.

Senior Systems Engineer supporting engine controls for avionics: represent BAE to a Cincinnati customer, troubleshoot hardware/software/firmware in labs, support requirements and new development, travel periodically to customer and internal facilities, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure product understanding and support.

Lead and manage an engineering team to meet program cost, schedule, and technical requirements. Coordinate engineering activities, review technical changes, monitor metrics, support program managers, manage Design to Cost and cost reduction, and ensure compliance with engineering processes and standards while interfacing with cross-functional teams.

Lead a Model-Based Engineering capability team in defense programs, balancing people management and hands-on MBSE work. Drive MBSE adoption, develop architectural models using SysML/UML/UAF and tools (MagicDraw/Cameo/Rhapsody), guide program MBSE activities, create validation rules, staff programs, mentor engineers, and collaborate on digital engineering strategy and continuous improvement.

Manage and mentor software engineering teams delivering embedded electronic warfare systems. Collaborate with systems, hardware, and test teams through planning, requirements, design, development, integration, and testing. Ensure engineering process adherence, guide staff through complex issues, and provide functional/technical leadership for medium-to-large groups. Active Secret clearance required.
