Provides pre- and post-sales technical support for industrial automation products, assists sales teams, develops demonstrations and bills of materials, delivers customer training, maintains demo and training rooms, and performs product research. The role includes phone and occasional onsite customer support, vendor training, customer calls, engineering and training billing generation, and progression toward factory certification. Candidates need an associate technical degree, at least three years of industrial automation or robotics experience, electrical CAD and programming experience, and preferably Siemens PLC programming experience.

Design electrical control panels and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical, ensuring compliance with UL standards. Review contract drawings, create bills of materials and testing procedures, determine variable frequency drive and soft starter parameters, prepare quotes and estimates, manage panel projects, and provide customer and post-sales technical support. The role is full-time and on-site, with travel to job sites and branches as needed.

Manage and grow existing customer accounts, generate new sales, prepare quotes, process purchase orders, follow up to close orders, support outside sales, and provide product-focused customer service for electrical and industrial products.

Supports sales of automation, sensing, and electric heating products by generating proposals, processing sales orders and returns, maintaining customer records, answering order-status questions, and assisting with pricing administration. Requires customer service or inside sales experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, organization, communication, problem-solving, and reconciliation abilities. On-the-job training is provided.
