Analyzes agricultural financial statements, tax returns, cash flow projections, collateral, and credit risk for farm operations and agribusinesses. Prepares loan presentations, assigns risk ratings, supports relationship managers with annual reviews and exception monitoring, and evaluates agriculture-specific risks such as production cycles, commodity prices, and input costs. Collaborates with internal teams to structure compliant, timely agricultural credits.

Oversee the bank’s regulatory compliance program for lending and deposits, including policy development, risk assessments, complaint management, HMDA reporting, regulatory exam preparation, staff training, and compliance supervision. The role coordinates with legal counsel and leadership on products, interprets regulatory updates, supports committees, and ensures adherence to federal and state requirements.

Manages and grows an agricultural lending and deposit portfolio; develops relationships with farmers, agribusinesses, and rural enterprises; evaluates creditworthiness, collateral, cash flow, and risk; structures and negotiates loans; presents requests for approval; ensures compliant documentation and funding; monitors portfolios and supports collections or workouts. Represents the bank through community and agricultural industry involvement.

Supports the bank’s daily accounting and finance operations, including accounts payable, general ledger balancing, correspondent accounts, investments, funds management, tax activities, and audit documentation. Processes invoices and accounting entries, monitors funding balances, manages securities and ICS/CDARS portfolios, communicates with vendors and employees, resolves accounting issues, and identifies process improvements. The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and proficiency with common business software.
