Supports Intelligence Community and federal missions through requirements engineering, systems architecture, integration, reliability, maintainability, and technical assessments. Translates mission requirements into scalable system capabilities, analyzes and allocates requirements across integrated IT systems, evaluates alternatives and tradeoffs, and supports technical planning and risk management across geospatial intelligence environments.

Conduct vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit development across complex software, operating systems, embedded platforms, and hardware interfaces. Analyze low-level architectures, OS internals, network protocols, and exploit mitigations; develop tools and operationalize cyber capabilities. The role requires assembly and modern C++ expertise, proficiency with reverse-engineering and debugging tools, and collaboration on mission-focused cybersecurity projects.

Analyze sophisticated cyber threats, especially state-sponsored APTs, supporting Fort Meade mission operations. Use SIGINT systems and customer mission tools to correlate network, host-based, and technical cyber data; identify adversary TTPs; assess intrusions and threat actor behavior; and produce actionable threat intelligence reporting. Collaborate with cyber operators, analysts, and mission partners on defensive and investigative actions.

Develop and document enterprise architecture baselines, future states, and transition plans across multiple organizations. Identify capabilities, dependencies, mission impacts, and risks while aligning architecture with client goals. Collaborate with content providers, consumers, developers, engineers, and business analysts to improve interoperability and foster innovation. Apply enterprise architecture frameworks, systems modeling languages, and model-based systems engineering practices in support of an Intelligence Community client.

Prepares, reviews, revises, and maintains technical documentation for software, systems, hardware, operations, testing, installation, configuration, and end users. Creates code documentation, implementation guides, data-flow documentation, and technical publications using engineering resources and technical drawings. Collaborates with customers and senior leadership to produce polished documents and graphics for internal and external distribution.

Supports configuration management across the lifecycle of packet-based hardware and software systems for a Fort Meade customer. Responsibilities include baseline management, change control, configuration audits, documentation, systems integration, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, sustainment, and technology modernization. The role coordinates with engineering, operations, and program teams while maintaining configuration plans, technical records, and system integrity. An active TS/SCI with polygraph, bachelor’s degree, and 14-plus years of relevant experience are required.

Leads testing strategy and execution for mission-critical intelligence systems. Designs automated and manual tests covering system, integration, regression, performance, and stress scenarios; maintains test documentation and frameworks; validates data ingest and lifecycle compliance; tracks defects; analyzes results; and supports integration, deployment, accreditation, and operational testing in Linux and AWS environments.

Creates and maintains technical documentation, user guides, manuals, training materials, reports, briefings, and defense acquisition documentation. Researches complex technical information, interprets engineering and maintenance drawings, coordinates document layout, and collaborates with developers, engineers, and subject matter experts. Maintains internal documentation libraries and produces materials for DoD electronic equipment and systems.

Analyze complex structured and unstructured datasets, develop statistical and machine learning models, build data pipelines, and create visualizations supporting mission and business decisions. The role requires strong Python-based analytics, data wrangling, database management, data quality practices, and stakeholder collaboration. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph, a bachelor’s degree, and at least five years of relevant experience.

Reviews supplier mechanical designs, evaluates static structural analyses and FEA, applies ASME and AWS standards, and provides technical guidance on manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, welding, and GD&T. The engineer collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers, participates in design reviews, resolves technical issues, and supports continuous improvement for propulsion plant engineering projects.
