Description

Markon is seeking an experienced Intrusion Analyst to support our Fort Meade customer. The Intrusion Analyst will analyze sophisticated cyber threats, with a focus on state-sponsored Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), leveraging SIGINT-derived technical data and customer mission toolsets to detect, assess, and respond to hostile cyber activity.

Responsibilities
  • Support Fort Meade customer mission operations through intrusion detection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Analyze cyber threat activity targeting high-value and hard targets, including state-sponsored APTs.
  • Leverage SIGINT systems to collect, analyze, and exploit technical cyber data.
  • Use customer-provided analytic and mission toolsets to identify adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Correlate SIGINT, network, and host-based data to assess intrusions and threat actor behavior.
  • Produce timely, actionable intrusion and threat intelligence reporting for operational and leadership audiences.
  • Collaborate with cyber operators, analysts, and mission partners to support defensive and investigative actions.
Qualifications

Required

  • TS/SCI with Active Polygraph with this Customer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline plus 8years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting a Fort Meade customer.
  • Deep understanding of cyber threat intelligence, particularly state-sponsored APTs and other advanced adversaries.
  • Strong proficiency with customer analytic tools and cyber mission systems.
  • Extensive experience leveraging SIGINT systems for technical cyber data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex technical data into clear assessments.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment.
Salary RangeUSD $160,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
