Directs the organization’s human resources function, including policies, compliance, compensation, benefits, recruitment, training, employee relations, vendor management, and staff development. Advises executives and managers on personnel matters, ensures compliance with employment laws, supervises the HR team, supports organizational goals, and represents HR with the Board, agencies, employees, and community stakeholders.

Develops and executes communications, social media, direct mail, fundraising, and promotional campaigns for a nonprofit food bank. Creates written, graphic, photographic, and video content; maintains digital platforms, archives, databases, and brand standards; supports donor relations, events, outreach, and reporting. The role requires collaboration across departments, occasional travel, event setup, photography, video production, and work during occasional evenings and weekends.

Develops, writes, and reports on grant proposals for foundations, corporations, government agencies, and other funders. Conducts prospect research, manages grant calendars and internal grant programs, prepares budgets and reports, maintains funder relationships, and coordinates with finance, operations, programs, and agency partners. The role requires strong writing, organization, financial interpretation, stakeholder communication, multitasking, and deadline management in support of the Food Bank’s mission.
