Provides part-time optical test and controls engineering for a lunar camera environmental test campaign. Responsibilities include operating optical and camera instrumentation, developing and running Linux-based command-and-control software, executing benchtop and environmental tests, monitoring data and logs, supporting optical alignment, documenting results, and identifying anomalies. The contractor collaborates remotely with multidisciplinary engineers and provides periodic on-site support in Westford, Massachusetts, and Danbury, Connecticut. The engagement lasts approximately six months at 10–20 hours per week.
