Performs month-end close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, variance analysis, audit support, and process improvement. The role researches discrepancies, prepares bank-reporting footnotes, documents controls, coordinates accounting projects, and supports system implementations and ad hoc analyses.
