Provides Tier I/II application access support for approximately 40,000 users. Manages incidents, problems, access requests, and change requests through ServiceNow and other channels. Administers enterprise accounts using RBAC, monitors Active Directory, and provides authentication and authorization services across the IT environment.

Resolves incidents and service requests through ServiceNow, maintains technical documentation and topology diagrams, coordinates projects and configuration changes, and reports operational risks. Requires travel between buildings and occasional land or air travel.

Provides global infrastructure support for multi-petabyte enterprise storage environments, including block, object, NAS, and SAN storage. Manages hybrid and multi-cloud transitions across AWS and Azure, maintains Oracle appliances and Enterprise Service Bus environments, and supports security, patching, load balancing, audits, assessments, and compliance reporting. Coordinates with overseas IT staff and cloud providers while supporting Department of State facilities.

Supports security operations and SIEM administration for Department of State IT environments. Develops secure installation guides aligned with federal standards and DISA STIGs, configures and manages SIEM processes and tools, implements security solutions for threats and vulnerabilities, and performs patch management and security update operations to maintain compliance.

Designs, deploys, maintains, and modernizes hybrid cloud and on-premises hosting environments for the Department of State. Responsibilities include infrastructure engineering, cloud migration, containerization, Infrastructure as Code, automated provisioning, configuration-drift remediation, Windows and Linux platform support, security compliance, FedRAMP alignment, vendor coordination, and infrastructure performance and capacity management.

Reviews and analyzes USAID assistance appeals, prepares legally sufficient decision memorandums, evaluates award-related issues, applies federal assistance regulations to cost allowability and compliance matters, and advises senior leadership. The role serves as a subject matter expert, coordinates with acquisition, finance, audit, compliance, and legal offices, and documents complex recommendations for assistance award decisions.

Manages configuration and change management operations across hybrid VPC and global network infrastructure using ITIL. Maintains configuration items, baselines, topology models, documentation, and compliance records; reconciles automated discovery data; coordinates change requests and emergency changes; supports enterprise change boards; conducts audits and post-implementation reviews; and reports configuration compliance, baseline drift, and change success metrics.

Designs, deploys, maintains, and modernizes hybrid physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructure for Department of State systems. Provides engineering support across Windows, UNIX/Linux, virtualization, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments; implements containerization and Infrastructure as Code; audits configuration and security compliance; supports cloud migration, provisioning, capacity, performance, and availability. Coordinates with vendors and stakeholders while ensuring FedRAMP, data sovereignty, and Department of State security requirements.
