Prepare company, sole trader, partnership, VAT and corporation tax accounts and returns; support bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and accurate record keeping. Communicate with clients, gather information, resolve queries, maintain quality working papers, and use accounting software to support digital filing. The role also involves assisting colleagues, managing workloads independently, and contributing to office operations while developing technical accounting knowledge.

Manages a portfolio of key clients while leading, coaching, and developing a business team within an accounting practice. Responsibilities include client relationship management, resource deployment, complex special work, performance reviews, recruitment, training, business development, proposal support, networking, and delivery of high-quality client service. The role also contributes to strategic business aims, regulatory advice, marketing events, risk management, and firm-wide development.

Assist the Private Client Trust and Probate team with preparing tax returns, tax computations, Capital Gains Tax returns, HMRC forms, rental income accounts, and basic self-employment accounts. Liaise with HMRC, clients, and professionals; maintain client databases; support tax advisory projects; identify service opportunities; meet deadlines; and follow ethical, risk management, and compliance procedures.
