Provide system administration and IT support for Digital Mission Training Center exercises at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Install, configure, integrate, test, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems, servers, and workstations. Support facility setup and recovery, RMF compliance, training products, and after-action reviews. The role requires a Secret clearance, Security+ certification, Microsoft Office proficiency, and a high school diploma; three years of IT experience and an associate degree are preferred.

Creates, edits, analyzes, and manages digital terrain databases, aerial imagery, topographic data, map data, and related datasets for Army simulation federates and mission command systems. Configures terrain production tools, maintains historical datasets, collaborates with government and geospatial organizations, and supports CPX operations, federate execution, workstation instruction, and operational troubleshooting.

Reviews, consolidates, and develops cybersecurity policies with government approval. Provides technical support to programs, evaluates IT policies and security standards, balances security with operational needs, and briefs senior management on policy changes and progress. The role requires seven years of cybersecurity policy experience, DoD cybersecurity policy knowledge, CSSP Analyst certification, and a DoD Top Secret clearance or eligibility for IT-I/Tier 5 clearance.

Analyzes open-source and government threat intelligence affecting operational technology environments. Reviews OT logs, network events, and alerts for attacks and advanced persistent threats; provides actionable reporting and briefings; identifies protection and detection gaps; performs root cause analysis; supports incident remediation; and serves as an OT cybersecurity subject matter expert. Collaborates with cyber intelligence, incident response, content development, and cybersecurity engineering teams.

Monitors SIEM and cybersecurity tools in a 24x7x365 environment to detect, analyze, and respond to threats. Performs incident response, root cause analysis, log and traffic review, APT detection, OSINT-informed threat monitoring, and cybersecurity tool sustainment. Supports Defense-in-Depth signatures and perimeter controls, and develops scripts to improve threat detection and response capabilities.

Develops SIEM threat-detection use cases based on emerging threats, threat intelligence, and analyst feedback. Identifies security analytics gaps, creates application-specific signatures and alerting priorities, develops scripts to enhance SIEM capabilities, and evaluates log-feed quality. Collaborates with cybersecurity stakeholders and tool specialists while applying knowledge of network architecture, log formats, MITRE ATT&CK, and defense-in-depth principles. The position requires a DoD Top Secret clearance and is contingent on contract award.

Conducts proactive threat hunting across enterprise networks by analyzing logs, network data, attacker techniques, and threat intelligence. Investigates suspicious activity, identifies vulnerabilities and mitigations, supports critical incident response, and leads analysis of advanced persistent threats. Develops hunting strategies, automation, and tools to detect sophisticated adversaries while documenting findings and actionable intelligence.

Supports Army mission command training simulations by installing, configuring, integrating, troubleshooting, patching, securing, and maintaining hardware, software, networks, and simulation systems. Provides technical support during training exercises, manages system recovery and backups, verifies DISA and DoD compliance, maintains inventories, analyzes performance, and resolves Mission Command Systems issues. Requires extensive LVC-G, Linux, Windows, classified-environment, RMF, and information-assurance experience, along with a Secret clearance and CompTIA Security+ certification.

Plans, executes, and reports on information systems control assessments for federal financial systems. Evaluates cybersecurity, access, change management, and segregation-of-duties controls across SAP and non-SAP enterprise applications. Applies FFMIA, GAO, FISCAM, Federal Audit Manual, OMB Circular, and federal accounting requirements. Produces working papers, summary reports, detailed findings, and actionable recommendations while supporting DoD/DLA programs.

Supports enterprise software testing across the full lifecycle, including developmental, operational, regression, performance, accessibility, cybersecurity, API, cloud, database, and automated testing. Develops test scripts and documentation, analyzes defects, supports remediation, manages ServiceNow testing workflows, and contributes to DoD acquisition, DevSecOps, Agile, Section 508, and compliance activities for DLA enterprise systems.
