Supports South Asia medical-product sourcing, supplier relationship management, procurement, order administration, quality and GDP compliance, and shipment consolidation. The role conducts Indian market intelligence, identifies and validates suppliers, supports negotiations and supplier performance improvement, processes purchase orders and invoices in an ERP system, coordinates freight forwarding, and optimizes shipments to MSF supply centers. It collaborates with global buyers, quality teams, suppliers, logistics providers, and regional supply stakeholders.

Supports the Global Health and Humanitarian Medicine course through applicant communications, lecture feedback coordination, student onboarding, data entry, webinar administration, document and report organization, and meeting minutes. The internship is full-time and office-based in Colombo, with 25% work-from-home availability. Candidates should communicate effectively, multitask, take ownership, use MS Office, and preferably have a medical, commerce, international business, social work, accounts, or administration background.

Supports South Asia medical-product supply strategy through market intelligence, supplier relationship management, procurement, quality and GDP compliance, shipment consolidation, and order administration. The role coordinates suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses, buyers, and European Supply Centers; analyzes sourcing and transport options; resolves delivery and invoicing issues; maintains ERP records and supplier databases; and contributes to supply-chain process improvements and standard operating procedures.

Supports statutory and legal compliance for MSF Sri Lanka, including company secretarial filings, board documentation, records management, contract review, due diligence, GDPR gap assessments, risk and fraud controls, audits, and liaison with regulators, consultants, lawyers, auditors, and internal stakeholders.

Leads MSF South Asia’s finance strategy, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow, tax planning, audits, statutory compliance, risk management, and internal controls across India and Sri Lanka. Provides financial insights to executives and the board, manages finance and compliance teams, oversees banking relationships, supports MSF India, and contributes to international strategic planning. Ensures accurate financial information, regulatory compliance, ethical financial practices, and alignment with MSF International standards.
