Provides technical leadership for enterprise application and database modernization. The role guides migration to Microsoft Azure, transformation of monolithic systems into modular cloud-native architectures, and integration across complex business applications. Responsibilities include producing reference implementations, improving engineering quality, strengthening security and governance, influencing stakeholders, leading transformation initiatives, translating business objectives into technology solutions, and supporting documentation and knowledge transfer.

Develop full-stack applications using Java Spring Boot, ReactJS, APIs, and microservices. Design and build APIs, write Swagger documentation, create low-level designs, conduct code reviews, mentor team members, perform unit and integration testing, develop test automation scripts, and deploy code using Azure or GCP platforms and CI/CD pipelines while managing repositories.

Collaborate with developers, data teams, analysts, vendors, and global stakeholders.

Support and maintain operational technology network infrastructure across BAU operations and technical projects. Assist with network refreshes, software and hardware implementation, incident, problem, and change management, and routine cyber activities. Apply network security, Layer 2/3 routing and switching, and networking protocols while working with senior engineers and stakeholders. Contribute to mission-critical project delivery, continuous improvement, troubleshooting, and technical communication.

Build accessible, scalable, high-quality frontend interfaces for a cloud-native Data Marketplace using React and TypeScript. Write automated tests with a test-first approach, take technical ownership, contribute to architecture and technical direction, and mentor other engineers. Work within cross-functional feature teams, with opportunities to contribute to backend development, REST APIs, databases, CI/CD, containers, and Kubernetes.

Provides enterprise architecture capability across Insurance, Pensions and Investments domains. Develops and assures end-to-end architectures, solution designs, feasibility assessments, roadmaps, architecture decision records and target-state models. Identifies dependencies and risks and contributes to governance. Build and operate backend services in Golang, designing microservices and distributed systems for high-throughput transaction processing. Develop event-driven architectures using messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ, work with relational and NoSQL databases, and deploy containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes. Fintech or payments production experience is ideal, while PHP experience is beneficial.

The Programme Director will shape and lead strategic IT transformation programs, including application and database migration to Microsoft Azure, legacy modernization, cloud-native development, and enterprise systems integration. The role requires strategic and technical leadership, architecture oversight, governance, stakeholder management, and delivery of measurable business outcomes related to agility, resilience, security, cost optimization, analytics readiness, and reduced technical debt.

Own the product backlog, roadmap, OKRs, release priorities, and developer experience for a mobile security product squad. Partner with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver secure mobile capabilities, balance technical and business needs, manage governance and business readiness, and support cross-functional transformation in a regulated financial-services environment.
