Manage technology vendor pipelines from sourcing through TechOps handover. Evaluate vendors, support technical diligence, draft and negotiate contracts, track subsystem milestones across hardware program gates, research technology options, prepare outreach materials, represent the company at industry events, and maintain leadership dashboards on vendor health, contracts, and partnership velocity.

Conduct literature surveys, reproduce and benchmark deep learning research, train and evaluate models on EO and SAR satellite imagery, design rigorous experiments, develop computer vision and multimodal architectures, analyze failure modes, and present findings for technical reports and publications.

The role requires translating complex technical concepts for engineering, business, investor, and leadership audiences while monitoring emerging aerospace, satellite imaging, data fusion, and AI/ML technologies.

Design and maintain embedded software for spacecraft command and data handling systems. Develop firmware, board support packages, real-time software, Embedded Linux drivers and applications, communication interfaces, telemetry, fault management, bootloaders, and health monitoring. Debug and optimize software on target hardware, support hardware bring-up, integration, environmental testing, and mission operations, and collaborate with avionics, FPGA, systems, and operations teams.

Own talent strategy, workforce planning, end-to-end hiring, employer branding, onboarding, internship programs, organizational design, and people systems. Partner with founders and functional leaders to define hiring plans, maintain organizational structures, configure Zoho People workflows, and develop monthly people dashboards. Track hiring, onboarding, attrition, engagement, payroll, and compliance metrics while improving scalable people processes and preparing to grow into a People Operations Lead role.

Develop backend-focused full-stack applications using Node.js, Python, and the MERN stack. Design REST and GraphQL APIs, process large geospatial datasets, integrate mapping layers, and work with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and MongoDB. Support interactive dashboards, AI/ML integrations, application performance, scalability, security, documentation, version control, and CI/CD. Collaborate with GIS engineers, data scientists, and frontend developers on data-intensive space-tech and geospatial systems.

Design multilayer PCBs for satellite systems, including component placement, stackup configuration, high-speed and power routing, design-rule management, and DFM, DFA, and DFT compliance. Create and maintain IPC-compliant footprints and libraries, understand PCB fabrication processes, and produce manufacturing outputs such as Gerbers, drill files, BOMs, pick-and-place data, and assembly drawings.

Acquire, preprocess, and analyze satellite and aerial imagery from thermal, multispectral, and SAR sensors. Derive land surface temperature and urban heat island indicators, apply AI/ML for feature extraction and change detection, and create GIS-based heat maps, spatial products, and time-series analytics. Produce technical reports and datasets while supporting interactive heat-monitoring dashboards and decision-support tools.

Lead satellite verification and validation across hardware test campaigns, test-data systems, and digital twin development. Own test strategy, readiness, plans, procedures, documentation, and digital twin roadmap. Direct development of data logging, visualization, UI, and reporting applications while managing and developing V&V engineers. Coordinate verification activities with subsystem leads, AIT teams, and program management, including milestone planning, status reporting, and risk management.
