GalaxEye Space Solutions is building Drishti OptoSAR, India's first multi-sensor commercial Earth observation constellation combining SAR and MSI payloads. The Technology Partnerships function owns vendor scouting, diligence, contracting, and handover to TechOps across the payload, bus, launch, and ground segment ecosystem.
We're looking for a Partnership Associate to support this function as it scales from Gen-1 (launched) into Gen-2 vendor ecosystem build-out. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to operate at the intersection of deep-tech vendor management, commercial negotiation, and program execution — not a generic BD or "partnerships" role.
- Vendor pipeline management: Own and maintain the vendor/partner tracking system from sourcing through handover to TechOps.
- Scouting & diligence: Identify and evaluate potential vendors and technology partners against technical, commercial, and schedule criteria. Support first-pass technical screening in coordination with engineering leads.
- Contracting support: Draft and redline commercial agreements, NDAs, and statements of work. Support clause-level negotiation under guidance from the Head of Technology Partnerships.
- Program support: Track milestone delivery against PDR/DDR/CDR/MRR/FRR gates for partner-supplied subsystems; flag schedule or scope risk early.
- System engineering support: Support engineering teams by surveying and sharing available technology options in the market (components, subsystems, suppliers) to inform vendor-selection and make-vs-buy decisions.
- Outreach & events: Prepare partner outreach materials, scoring/prioritization trackers for prospective vendors, and represent GalaxEye at industry events (e.g., Space Symposium) alongside the partnerships team.
- Internal reporting: Maintain dashboards and status reports for leadership on vendor health, contract status, and partnership pipeline velocity.
RequirementsWhat We're Looking For
- 1–4 years of experience in partnerships, business development, vendor management, procurement, or program management — ideally in aerospace, deep tech, hardware, or a similarly technical/regulated industry.
- Comfort reading full contracts end-to-end and negotiating terms from a program point of view (milestone clauses, IP terms, liability, exclusivity) — prior exposure to contract drafting is a strong plus.
- Working familiarity with hardware program terminology and gate reviews (PDR, CDR, AIT, or equivalent from another industry) is a significant advantage; willingness to learn this domain fast is non-negotiable if you don't have it yet.
- Strong MS Office skills — you'll be living in vendor tracking workbooks.
- Excellent written communication: concise and structured for internal stakeholders, professional and credible for external partners. We avoid buzzwords; we write like engineers who also do deals.
- High autonomy. This is a lean team — you'll own work streams end-to-end, not just support someone else's.
- B.Tech (engineering) is required; a master's in any field is a plus.
- Prior exposure to satellite, defense, or space-sector vendor ecosystems.
- Experience with technical subsystems such as Satellite systems, Optical payloads, or SAR payloads.
- Exposure to legal contract drafting in a technical/industrial context.
BenefitsWhy GalaxEye
You'll join a small, high-ownership team building India's first multi-sensor commercial EO constellation — working directly with the Head of Technology Partnerships across the full vendor lifecycle, from first scouting call to contract signature to handover, on hardware that's actually flying.
- Fair Compensation in line with current market standards.
- Start-up Culture: Be part of a high-growth, innovation-driven team.
- Flexible Working Hours to support work-life balance.
- Open Culture: Freedom to explore, propose, and implement new ideas and processes.
- Leadership Exposure: Opportunity to work directly with the Founding Team at GalaxEye.
- Industry Mentorship: Work with advisors and mentors holding senior positions and decades of industry experience.
Skills Required

- Ability to read contracts end-to-end and negotiate program-related terms, including milestones, intellectual property, liability, and exclusivity
- Working familiarity with hardware program terminology and gate reviews such as PDR, CDR, or AIT, or willingness to learn quickly
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- High autonomy and ability to own workstreams end-to-end
- Master's degree in any field
- Prior exposure to satellite, defense, or space-sector vendor ecosystems
- Experience with satellite systems, optical payloads, or SAR payloads
- Exposure to legal contract drafting in a technical or industrial context
What We Do
GalaxEye is an Indian space-tech startup developing advanced Earth-observation technologies. Its flagship Drishti Mission uses a multisensor imaging satellite combining optical and Synthetic Aperture Radar data to produce high-resolution imagery, including through cloud cover and at night.
