Own embedded firmware from system bring-up through production for mission-critical satellite SAR payloads. Translate engineering requirements into procurement plans, negotiate commercial terms, resolve supplier issues, support sourcing strategy and indigenisation, coordinate compliance documentation, and track costs, inventory, lead times, and supplier performance across critical space-grade components.

Leads end-to-end hardware architecture and development for high-reliability airborne and space electronics. Designs power systems, schematics, multilayer PCB layouts, RF circuits, and embedded processor interfaces. Selects components, creates bills of materials, coordinates fabrication and testing vendors, and supports firmware teams with hardware bring-up and debugging. Performs system validation, SI/PI and EMI/EMC-compliant design, hardware testing, quality assurance, and technical documentation while collaborating cross-functionally.

Design and develop power systems and high-reliability electronics for airborne and space missions. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, schematics, PCB layout, component selection, battery and solar charger design, fabrication coordination, integration, testing, debugging, and validation. The role requires collaboration across engineering teams and partners while following aerospace standards such as AS9100.

Supports business development through industry and stakeholder research focused on space technology applications. Produces market insights, contributes to expansion and outreach strategy, researches relevant space, technology, and defense events, tracks opportunities and deadlines, coordinates meetings, and prepares event briefings on companies, executives, and collaboration prospects. The role also helps prepare founders for networking, panels, and stakeholder engagements.

Supports founders and senior leadership across fundraising, investor communications, due diligence, board materials, governance, regulatory compliance, audits, and strategic initiatives. Coordinates with finance, legal, consultants, and cross-functional teams; maintains compliance trackers; prepares briefs and presentations; and follows up on leadership action items. The role requires analytical ability, strong documentation and presentation skills, discretion, stakeholder management, and execution in an ambiguous startup environment.

Design, train, fine-tune, and evaluate foundation models and vision-language models for multi-sensor satellite imagery. Develop detection, segmentation, change detection, retrieval, captioning, and visual question-answering systems. Build scalable geospatial data pipelines, conduct rigorous experiments, publish research, and collaborate with engineering, MLOps, product, and domain teams to transition prototypes into production.
