The Director, Business HR partners with executive leaders to develop and execute people strategies. Responsibilities include talent management, workforce planning, organizational design, succession, retention, employee relations, compliance, engagement, and change management. The role uses HR data and analytics to identify trends, advises leaders, collaborates with HR Centers of Expertise, implements policy changes, and may manage HR Business Partners. Strong strategic, analytical, communication, coaching, and people-management skills are required.

Leads external communications, media relations, storytelling, PR measurement, and multimedia content strategy for a healthcare system. Manages media and influencer relationships, develops executive thought leadership, oversees communications monitoring, mentors direct reports, and serves as a Public Information Officer during emergencies. Partners across clinical and community teams to identify stories, manage crises, support awards, and deliver data-informed communications across multiple channels.

Manages financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, reporting, and performance monitoring. Partners with hospital leaders, research teams, and philanthropic foundations to support strategic decisions, cost optimization, revenue enhancement, compliance, and audits. Oversees financial data and planning tools while supervising and mentoring financial analysts.

Reviews research-account expenditures, requisitions, labor distributions, and compliance with award, sponsor, and federal policies. Prepares financial reports, performs variance analysis and forecasting, resolves incorrect postings through journal entries, and supports budget development, progress reporting, spending plans, audits, and financial presentations. Partners with principal investigators and clinical research leadership while interpreting financial information and developing related workflows and procedures.

Manages healthcare supply categories, contracts, vendor relationships, sourcing strategies, negotiations, and value analysis initiatives. Oversees a large contract portfolio, leads RFP/RFQ processes, reviews contract language, tracks savings, and collaborates with clinical, legal, IT, quality, administrative, and executive stakeholders to improve cost efficiency, compliance, resource allocation, and patient care.

Manages medical-supply inventory for hospital procedural units, including stock counts, picking, packing, replenishment, consignment, expiration checks, and just-in-time delivery. Monitors demand and backorders, recommends inventory-level changes, coordinates substitutes and disruption mitigation with Procurement and clinical teams, maintains organized supply areas, enters data accurately, supports process-improvement initiatives, and follows infection-control and regulatory standards.

Maintains medical supply inventory across hospital departments and care locations. Responsibilities include counting and recording stock, picking, packing, staging, delivering and replenishing supplies, rotating inventory, checking expiration dates, maintaining organized stockrooms, updating clinicians about disruptions, entering data through handhelds and the Endeavor ERP system, and supporting process improvement and regulatory readiness.

Oversee and administer compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, merit cycles, promotions, and market adjustments. Partner with HR, operational leaders, HRIS, payroll, and recruiting teams on pay recommendations, job evaluations, system accuracy, and process improvements. Analyze market and internal compensation data, prepare reports, support compliance, and develop training resources for compensation policies and programs.
