Develops rapid product prototypes and technology demonstrations in C/C++ and Python across evolving embedded hardware. Responsibilities include modifying drivers and software frameworks, designing architectures, establishing CI/CD and code review workflows, translating research algorithms into high-performance embedded code, supporting chip and board bring-up, collaborating with Systems and Physical AI teams, documenting implementations, and handing successful prototypes to production software teams.

Occasional travel to OSAT partner sites is required.

Own and scale the global supply chain for integrated hardware products, from supplier selection and contract manufacturing through production ramp and ongoing operations. Responsibilities include sourcing, supplier qualification, BOM and cost analysis, demand and capacity planning, inventory, logistics, supplier performance, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality, finance, and product teams. The role also delivers data-driven updates to leadership and drives continuous improvement across supply chain processes.

Own electrical designs for robotics platforms from concept through production, including power, motor control, sensing, mixed-signal PCBs, high-speed interfaces, and sensor integration. Develop schematics, layouts, test plans, and manufacturing-ready designs; perform laboratory power and signal-integrity validation; debug issues; optimize cost, reliability, and manufacturability; and collaborate across architecture, production, compliance, and system integration teams.

Leads the productization, deployment, and scaling of perception and physical AI software for robotics and automation. Owns software strategy, architecture, SDK and platform development, field deployment, OTA updates, reliability, and operational excellence. Builds and scales engineering teams across perception, autonomy, infrastructure, and platform functions while partnering with algorithms, hardware, product, systems, applications, and customer teams. Represents software strategy to executives and the board.

Lead system architecture, mechanical engineering, product design, and integration for robotic hardware platforms. Own requirements, interfaces, verification and validation, design reviews, FMEA, reliability, opto-mechanical integration, simulation, manufacturability, and NPI from prototype through mass production. Partner cross-functionally with AI, perception, electrical, manufacturing, suppliers, and contract manufacturers. Build and lead a high-performing mechanical, systems integration, and product design engineering organization.

Lead optical engine and system module assembly, process integration, automation, tooling, mechanical design, and thermal modeling. Drive yield, throughput, cost, and Cp/Cpk improvements using SPC and experimental data. Support packaging R&D, NPI, testing automation, OSATs, contract manufacturers, supplier audits, technical documentation, and component specifications. Manage technical projects, provide DFM/DFR/DFT input, and help build a global operations process team.

Own Lyte’s marketing campaigns and content strategy across social media, blogs, newsletters, press outreach, and thought leadership. Translate complex robotics and Physical AI technologies into clear messaging, support product launches and go-to-market initiatives, manage content calendars, collaborate cross-functionally, and measure campaign performance. The role requires strong writing, technical storytelling, social media expertise, and comfort working autonomously in a fast-moving startup environment.

Lead optical device packaging and assembly process development, automation, tooling, testing, yield improvement, and cost reduction. Support mechanical design, thermal modeling, NPI, supplier and contract manufacturer activities, technical documentation, and project management. Use SPC, DOE, and failure analysis to improve process capability. Manage component specifications, audits, technical reports, and cross-functional collaboration while building a global operations process team.
