Manage company-wide compensation programs including salary administration, market pricing, bonus/incentive awards, executive compensation reporting, expatriate pay, ESPP and deferred compensation plans. The First Assistant Engineer manages, maintains, and operates shipboard engineering systems, enforces company safety and environmental policies, leads the engineering watch, manages engineering crew and contractors, and monitors vessel seaworthiness. Responsibilities include oversight of propulsion, power generation, automation, cargo transfer, HVAC, firefighting, and other systems, plus fuel/spare tracking, crew training, cost control, and incident reporting as directed by the Chief Engineer.
