Provide HR operational support for Canada and U.S. employees with emphasis on Canada (including Quebec). Manage onboarding/offboarding, employee records, benefits and leave administration, reporting, engagement activities, policy postings, and HR process documentation. Act as first point of contact for routine people queries, support People Business Partners, and assist with French translation and Canada-specific compliance and payroll/leave matters.

Manage General Ledger, multi-entity consolidations, month-end close, payroll (multi-state for 300+ employees), and high-volume AP. Lead two direct reports, support audits and compliance (GAAP/IFRS), implement systems (Navan), drive process improvements, and partner with cross-functional teams to present financial reporting to leadership.

Manage accounts payable and receivable, process employee expenses and electronic banking across countries, prepare month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations, reconcile sub-contractor invoices and margin analysis, assist Financial Controller with weekly/monthly reporting, and support annual audit and ad hoc finance requests.

Lead commercial and contract management engagements for major infrastructure programs. Provide strategic commercial advice, manage contract negotiations, claims and variations, oversee lifecycle commercial activities, drive business development, mentor team members, and integrate multidisciplinary solutions to optimise client outcomes across energy, transport, water and infrastructure sectors.

Lead forensic accounting and valuation work supporting litigation: perform damages analyses, build complex financial models, draft expert reports, conduct data-driven investigations, communicate findings to clients and support business development.

Provide planning, programme analysis, and technical support for a major construction/engineering project. Review programmes, conduct critical path and performance assessments, identify risks, support claims/variations, produce stakeholder reports, and collaborate with disputes and advisory teams to improve project outcomes.

Provide day-to-day HR support for U.S. and Canadian employees with a California focus: onboarding/offboarding, employee records, benefits and leave administration support, reporting, engagement activities, policy/compliance tracking, and People process documentation. Act as first point of contact for routine HR inquiries and support People Business Partners on administrative workflows to improve employee experience.
